In your January 14, 1992 letter acknowledging our response to Violation 369/91-22-03, you stated that we had committed to form an onsite group to evaluate procedure compliance by March 1,.1992 and that the actions proposed by this' group - to. further enhance.
performance would be implemented by June 1, 1993.
The Procedure Adherence Group was formed prior to March'1, 1992 as committed.
On October 19, 1992, five proposed corrective-acticas were received from this group.
Four of. the. five proposed' corrective actions dealt directly with the change tofa " rule based
' philosophy" of procedure use and adherence to correct the. concern of the violation..These four proposed actions were-the' Action Plan.
i for Management, the Action Plan for Training; the. development of a' procedure adherence. training tape and tofrewrite the directive on procedure use and' adherence. These four actions were 'all completed by the June 1, 1993 committed date.
The' fif th proposed corrective action dealt with recommendations for improving. the-quality of procedures. and 'were programmatic in.

These recommendations were forwarded to the Procedure Steering Committee to be. evaluated. LThe evaluation was completed' by the' June 1, 1993 committed.'date and the recommendations.will be!
