Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 Response to NRC Bulletin 93-02 Debris Plugging of Emergency Core Cooling Suction Strainers On May 11,1993, the USNRC issued NRC Bulletin 93-02, " Debris Plugging of Emergency Core Cooling Suction Strainers". Page 3 of that bulletin requested that licensees:

" Identify fibrous air filters or other temporary sources of fibrous material, not designed to withstand a LOCA, which are installed or stored in your primary containment."

Reporting requirement 1 on that same page specified that licensees respond to this requested action within 30 days. This letter provides the requisite response for the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station.

There are no fibrous air filters or other temporary sources of fibrous material installed or stored in the primary containment. Therfore, no additional actions or responses are required for NRCB 93-02.

As directed in the bulletin, this response is being submitted under oath or affirmation under the provisions of section 182a, Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and 10 CFR 50.54(f).
