This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. K. D. Ward of this office on

March 16 through May 20, 1993. The inspection included a review 'of authorized

activities for your Quad Cities Station, Unit 2 facility. .The focus of this
inspection was your ' inservice inspection, erosion / corrosion and modification
efforts. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed
with those members of your staff identified in the-enclosed report.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in~the report. Within

these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of' procedures,
l
representative records, observation of activities and interviews with
,
personnel.

No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of.this
!
inspection.

In accordance w'th 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a ' copy of

this letter and the enclosed inspection report will-be placed in the NRC
Public Document Room.
