An announced inspection of your reactor operations program was conducted on March 29-31,
1993 by Mr. Thomas Dragoun of this office, of activities authorized by NRC License No. R-
80. Discussions of our findings were held by Mr. Dragoun with Dr. Cady and other
l
members of your staff at the conclusion of this inspection on March 31,1993.
Areas reviewed included status of previously identified items, iistallation of new nuclear
-
instrumentation channels, compliance with limiting conditions for operation, recordkeeping
and management oversight. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
j
examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews wi'h personnel, and
observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, reactor operations were found to be conducted in a safe
manner. The inspector noted that the quality of your procedures and recordkeeping have
significantly improved since the last inspection of this area. No safety concerns or violations
l

of regulatory requirements were identified.
