("HL&P") investigated by the NRC Office ofInvestigations ("OI") between l
February,1992 and the present; f

Thomas Saporito's February 10, 1992 2.206 Petition regarding the South l
Texas nuclear power plant and/or Houston Lighting and Power Co.;

Any and all communications between NRC and any other person or entity related to NRC-OI investigation (s) of Mr. Saporito's allegations about HL&P and/or the South Texas nuclear power plant between February 1992 and the present.
This request includes but is not limited to notes, letters, memoranda, drafts, l_
minutes, diaries, logs, procedures, instructions, engineering analyses, drawings, files, graphs, charts, maps, photographs, agreements, handwritten notes, studies, data, -
notebooks, books, telephone messages, computations, interim and/or final reports, status reports, and any and all other records relevant to and/or generated in connection with i
the above-listed, categories ofinformation.

Mr. Saporito's signed and notarized authorization is enclosed herewith.
As you are aware, the FOIA requires you to release documents in segregable i
portions in the event they contain exempt material. For any documents or portions that you deny due to a speci5c FOIA exemption, please provide an index itemizing and describing the documents or portions of documents withheld.
We also ask that all fees be waived because the information requested will contribute significantly to the public's understanding of the operations or activities of the government and/or is primarily in the public interest and is not in the commercial interest of the requester. The National Whistleblower Center is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization. The purpose of the NWC is to assist whistleblowers to bring allegations of corporate wrongdoing and/or government corruption to the attention of the public.

The specific allegations and whistleblowing activities of Thomas Saporito concerning the South Texas nuclear plant and/or HL&P have already received widespread anention in the national and Texas media. In addition, there is great public interest in the NRC's investigations of Mr. Saporito's allegations. The NWC and/or Mr.
Saporito intend to disseminate to the public the information received from the NRC pursuant to this request.
We look forward to hearing from you within ten (10) working days as the law stipulates.
