Dear Mr Caldwell,
I am writing in response to your letter dated April 19, 1993. In your letter you requested clarification of our needs for requalification and license renewal for certain reactor operators.
With regards to Mr. Bosch (License # 10805) and Mr. Orlosky (License # 328-12), neither of these operators are currently employed at the Buffalo Materials Research Center and their licenses may be terminated.
With Regards to Mr. Kerns, we are continuing to evaluate whether he will be returned to active service as a Senior Operator. I can not at this time indicate whether an exam will be required. In your recent conversation with Mr Adams of my staff, you indicated that the absolute last " drop dead" date for us to request an exam would be August 21. I recognize the additional strain we are placing upon your resources and will do everything possible to resolve the issue as quickly as I can.
