NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-528/93-02, 50-529/93-02, and 50-

530/93-02

This letter refers to the routine announced inspection conducted by Mr. C.

Clark of this office during the weeks of January 11-15, and February 1-5,

1993, of activities authorized by NRC License Nos. NPF-41, NPF-51, and NPF-74

and to the discussions of his findings held with members of your staff on

January 15 and February 5,1993.

Specific areas examined during this inspection are described in the enclosed

inspection report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective

examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with

personnel, and observations of activities by the inspector.

The enclosed inspection report details identifies a violation regarding the

use of an out of date procedure revision for the performance of a surveillance

i

test of Unit 2 Auxiliary Feedwater pump AFA-P01. The violation is not being.

,

cited because the criteria specified in Section VII.B of the Enforcement

)

Policy were satisfied.

You took immediate corrective action, when the

i

,

violation was identified, by stopping the test, obtaining the correct

procedure revision, assessing the differences between the revisions, and

satisfactorily completing the test using the correct revision.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of

this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
