-Trojan Operating Report June, 1990 4
f OPERATIONS-n The plant begsn the month in Mode 5 with the Reactor Coolant System filled.
The Integrated Leak Rate Test, which started May 29th, was
"", ! I successfully completed'on June 3rd.

The RCS was vented and bubble established in the pressurizer on-June lith.
W. R. Robinson assumed ~ the duties of the Plant. General Manager on June 15th. Major plat.t secondary systems were filled and vented by June 18th.
Necessary surveillances were completed and the plant entered mode 4 on.
- June 25th for crevice flushing of the steam generators. -The plant returned.to mode 5 on June 26th, at the completion of crevice' flushing..After drain and refill of the steam generators, the startup
'from the11990 refueling outage commenced. Mode 3.was reached on June
' 28th but; returned to mode 4 when a problem with the seismic mounting of the auxiliary feedwater pump controis was identified. This was
- resolved and the plant returned to mode 3 on June 29th.-
o-MAJOR MAINTENANCE COMPLETED:
-Significant Maintenance completed during the month:
Flush of the main turbine oil system.
Replaced bad cells in the "B" trsin 125V DC battery.
Reworked Ray Chem splices in electrical penetration assemblies.
Inspection of control board and electrical / instrument cabinet t,
wiring terminations.
Inspection of RCP fly wheels.
