Your letter dated March 14, 1990, responded to Generic Letter (GL) 89-19 for i
the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant, Units I and 2 (Farley).
In your letter, you stated that the Farley steam generator overfill protection system design.
and technical specifications were in compliance with the recommendations of the GL.
However,-your letter also stated that surveillance procedure revisions were required to' ensure that all facets of the overfill protection system would be tested.
A detailed technical review of your response to the GL has not been performed and, therefore, approval of your design is neither intended nor implied.
However, your response provides an adequate basis for the staff to consider your-response complete.'

. surveillance procedure revisions have been completed and implemented.
