That in accordance with the requirements set forth in Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Parts 50 and 70, Idaho State Univer-sity will insure funds are available to decommission its AGN-201 M reactor and subcritical assembly.
The AGN-201 M reactor is a portable, self-contained reactor using a homogeneous fuel mixture.of uraniun oxide and polyethylene en-riched with U-235.
The reactor is operated at a thermal power level of 5 watts under.-Facility Operating License No. R-110.
The
.subcritical assembly consists of approximately 1510. grams of U-235 contained'in sealed aluminum fuel plates and.20. grams of i
plutonium in 2 s'aled sources.
The'subcritical assembly is oper-e ated under Special Nuclear Material License SNM-1373.
Both the reactor and the subcritical assembly are located in the Lil-libridge Engineering Laboratory at Pocatello, Idaho.
At the time Idaho State University' decides to cease reactor operations:and terminate or-fail to renew License No..R-110 or License No. SNM-1373, it will obtain the amount of $10,000.00 for decommissioning from University funds.-
