b OPERATIONS NARRATIVE COOPER NUCLEAR STATION MAY 1990 The 1990 (EOC 13) Refueling and Maintenance Outage continued until 0318 on May 6, 1990,'when the generator was synchronized to the grid.

At 1200, May 6,1990, the generator was taken off line to test the turbine overspeed l trip circuitry. The generator was resynchronized at 1300, May 6,1990. l

- Minor Power reductions (less than 6%) were made throughout the month to allow condenser backwash operations. No scheduled or unscheduled shutdowns or other

. significant power reductions were experienced during the month of May. A capacity ~

factor of 80.1% was achieved for the month. q 4
