This refers to the routine resident safety inspection conducted by
Mr. P. Habighorst of this office on March 6 - April 16, 1990 at Millstone
Nuclear Power Station, Unit 2, Waterford, Connecticut of activities authorized
by NRC License No. DPR-65 and to the discussions of our findings by
Mr. Habighorst with Mr. Keenan of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
inspection report which is enclosed with this letter. Within those areas, the
inspection consisted of observation of activities, interviews with personnel,
measurements, and document reviews.
We have received your letters dated September 18, 1989, March 29, 1990,
April 6,1990 and April 9,1990, in response to our inspection reports
50-336/89-16, 50-336/89-22, and 50-336/89-24.
Thank you for in'orming us of
the corrective and preventive actions documented in those letters. Your
actions will be examined during future inspections of your licensed program.
