Inspection Report No. 50-29/90-07
This refers to the routine resident safety inspection conducted by Messrs.
T. Koshy and M. Markley of this of fice on April 3 - May 14,1990, :at the Yankee
Nuclear. Power Station, Rowe, Massachusetts.
The inspection consisted of obser-
vation of activities, examinations of plant equipment, interviews with per-
sonnel and document reviews. The results of the inspection are described in
'the NRC Region I Inspection Report enclosed with this letter and were discussed
with you-at.the conclusion of the inspection.
In accordance with the NRC Enforcement Policy in 10 CFR 2, Appendix C, one non-
cited violation is documented in section 7.2 of this report. This-violation
,
involved an attempted unauthorized entry into a controlled access area. The
security staff responded appropriately to this event.
