Canada, and Mexico hereby petition the Executive office of the White House and the President of the United States to immediately direct the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to turn over to Dr. Charles Kaplan, to Dr. Zinovy Reytblatt and to our citizen's groups copies of all computer rams used in Integrated Pressurtzed Leak Rate testing of the Zion Nuclear Power Plant an r Nuclear Power Plants in the State of Illinois conducted since 1984. as was previously requested in the appropriate Emergency Relief Petition of 8/30/86 and as has been previously requested by Dr. Kaplan in his requests to the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety and in his telegrams to to Mister Harold Denton and President Heagan of 1/30/87 and by Dr. Reytblatt in his multiple attempts to obtain this data through the courts. We further request that the Omce of Technology Assessment and the Office of Scientific Integrity be directed to immediately evaluate the need for and the potential to implement Dr. Kaplan's plans for andlidary irg/latable containment structures to improve the safety of Nuclear Power Plants during earthquakes which he described in his letter to the President of 7/31/89, and in his telegram to Mr. Sununu of 8/18/89 as well as to review any other proposals to improve the safety of these Power Plants. if these approaches are found valid, we l ask that the Army Corps of Engineers be directed to immediately implement these proposals.
