This refers to the roJtine safety inspection Conducted by Messrs. B. H. Little,
"
B. L. Bartlett, and C. H. Brown of this office from April 1 through May 15,
1990 of activities as Callaway Plant, Unit 1, authorized by NRC Operating
License No. NPF-30. and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. J. D. Blosser
and others of you. staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during
the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of a selective
examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
interviews with personnel.
During this inspection, certain of your activities appeared to be in violation
of NRC requirements as identified in the enclosed ccpy of our inspection
report. The inspection showed that the violations .;L the test of 10 CFR 2,
Appendix C,Section V.G.1; accordingly no Notice :.i Violation was issued.
No
reply to the violation is required, and we nave no further questions regarding
this matter at-this time.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed in the NRC
Public Document Room.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this inspection.
