This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. D. L. Garrison of this office
during the period May 7-11, 1990, of activities authorized by NRC Operating

Licenses NPF-76 and NPF-80 for Scuth Texas Project, Units 1 and 2, and to the-
discussion of our findings with you and other members of your staff at the
conclusion of the inspection.

The area examined during the inspection was the quality assurance program for
measuring and test equipment. Within this area, the inspection consisted of
,
selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with

personnel, and observations by the inspector. The inspection findings are
documented in the enclosed inspection report.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
