Howell, S. D. Bitter, R. M. Latta, M. F. Runyan, H. Bundy, and M. Murphy during the period April 4, 1990, through May 2, 1990, of activities authorized by NRC Facility Operating License NPF-87 and NRC Construction Permit CPPR-127 for the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, Units 1 and 2, and to the discussion of our findings with you and members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection. The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation by the inspectors. During this inspection, it was found that certain of your activities appeared to deviate from commitments made to the NRC, as specified in the enclosed Notice of Deviation. No reply to the Notice of Deviation is required since adequate measures have been taken to correct the deviation and to prevent recurrence. In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
