A noncompliance with Unit 2 License Condition 2.C.13.c requirements was identified on May.22, 1990.
Unit 2 License Condition 2.C.13.c -in part tequires TVA:to. comply with Section III.G of 10 CFR 50 Appendix R.-
Section
~III.G.2.c of Appendix R requires enclosure of cables related to safe shutdown
. capability.in ~a;1-hour fire-rated barrier: and installation of fire detectors and: an ' automatic fire suppression system.
(This is one of several allowable s
configurations to. ensure that one redundant train of systems necessary to achieve and maintain hot shutdown conditions is free of fire damage.
Other allowable _configuratiens are described in Section III.G.2~of' Appendix R.)

The-affected area-has been and continues to be included in the surveillance of roving hourly fire' watch patrols. TVA is currently evaluating several potential corrective actions to address the cable-problem.
