This refers to the routine, announced, safety inspection of emergency preparedness
activities authorized by License No. DPR 73 by Messrs. C. Amato and E. Fox of this
office on March 19 23,1990 at the Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station,
Londonderry Township, Pennsylvania, and to discussions of these findings by Mr.
Amato with you and your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I report
which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
examination of procedures and records, and interviews with personnel by the inspectors.
Based on the results of this inspection, no violations, deviations or unresolved items
were identified.
