License DPR-46, for Cooper Nuclear Station, and to the discussion of our

findings with Mr. G. R. Horn at Cooper Nuclear Station on April 18, 1990, and

Mr.

W.' R. Luhring in Columbus, Nebraska, and other members of your staf f at the

conclusion of the inspection on April 20, 1990.

Areas examined during the inspection included the radiological environmental

monitoring program and certain aspects of the water chemistry program. Within

these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures

and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the

inspector. The inspection findings are documented in the enclosed inspection

report.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
