Dear Dr. Asmussen:
In our letter of June 6,1989 you were advised that your license would be amended once the special nuclear material possessed at your f acility fell below five formula kilograms.
Accordingly, we are hereby withdrawing license condition paragraph numbers 9.1.0, 9.1.C, 9.5, 9.6, and 9.7 of Safeguards Amendment SG-1 to your License SNM-696 to be effective immediately.
License condition 9.1.A remains in effect as follows:
9.1.A The licensee shall follow the measures described in the physical protection plan entitled " Fixed Site and Transportation Plan for the Protection of Special Nuclear Material of Moderate and Low Strategic Significance," dated i
May 1989, submitted by letter dated May 8,1989; and as it may be further revised in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR70.32(e).
If, in the future, you intend to increase your possession of strategic special nuclear material to five formula kilograms or more, you must first submit a new physical security plan which meets the requirements of 10 CFR 73.46 for our review and approval.
The security plan described in the above license condition is withheld from public disclosure because it contains information which falls under the provisionsof10CFR2.790(d).
