NRC-UTILITY INSPECTION WORKSHOP Per my commitment from the April 1989 Systematic Assessment of Licensee Performance Conference in King of Prussia, I am proposing a workshop to be held at the Hilton in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania on June 20-21, 1990.

The objective of the workshop is to promote a better understanding of the NRC's inspection program.

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at the Valley rorge Hilton, at the rate of $75.00 dollars per night for a single room. Reserva-tions should be mr.de directly with the Hilton (215-337-1200) for your staff by June 1, 1990.

Bruce Preston of PSE&G (M9-S?9-1?29) is arranging for utility presentations. Gene-Kelly of my staff (215-337-3234) is coordinating NRC presentations.

Recommendations for discussion topics should be directed to Bruce or Gene as appropriate.

I anticipate that participation will include site management and senior nuclear executives, at levels similar to those in attendance at the April 1989 workshop.

We estimate that 75-90 utility representatives and 25-30 NRC representatives will attend.
