This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Messrs. P. Hiland,
G. O'Dwyer, B. Drouin, and S. Stasek of this office, on February 28, through

April 16, 1990, of activities at Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1, authorized
by NRC Facility Operatinq License No NPF-58 and to the discussion of our
findings with you and others of your staff on April 18, 1990, at the
,
conclusion of the inspection.
The enclosed :opy of our inspecdon repcri hientifies areas axamined during
the inspection. Within these arcas, the inspection consisted of a-selective
examination of procedures and representative records, observations, and
interviews, with personnel.
