This refers to the itispection conducted by Messrs. R. C. Stewart and

D. L. Garrison of this office during the period March 26-30, 1990, of

activities authorized by NRC Operating License NPF-42 for Wolf Creek Generating

Station, and to the discussion of our findings witn Mr. F. T. Rhodes and other

members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.

The area-examined during the inspection was the control of safety-related

welding activities. Within this area, the inspection consisted of selective

examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with

personnel, and observations by the inspectors. The inspection findings are

documented in the enclosed inspection report.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were

identified.
