The staff has forwarded the enclosed " Notice of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment to Facility Operating License and Opportunity for Hearing" to the Office of the Federal Register for publication.
This notice related to your December 20, 1989 application for an amendment to the Technical Specifications for the James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant which proposed new Safety / Relief Valve (SRV) performance limits to take credit for the currently installed SRV capacity. The proposal addressed changes to the number of SRVs and Automatic Depressurization System valves which are required to be operable and changes to the SRV setpoints and setpoint tolerances. Other miscellaneous changes were also included.
