INDUSTRIAL SAFETY CONCERNS Enclosed is a summary of information recently received by this Office. It expresses a concern by an individual regarding industrial safety practices at l V. C. Summer. The NRC has not attempted to ascertain the accuracy of the information supplied by the individual. We do, however, feel that if substan-tiated it could be generic to industrial safety practices at V. C. Summer. { The enclosed information is not being placed in the Public Document Room. Appropriate safeguards must be applied to the enclosed information in view of i its unsubstantiated nature. For safety concerns that are not within the purview of the'NRC it is our normal practice to bring the matter to the attention of licensee management for disposition. You should be aware that this information has also been provided to the State OSHA Office in South Carolina. You are requested to initiate a review of this concern and provide us with your findings. You are requested to provide your findings to us within 45 days of receipt of this letter. In order to ensure appropriate protection for the information, please mark the letter with your finding)s.as containing "Information Exempt from Disclosure Under 10 CFR 2.790(a (6) and (7)."
