Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspectio's conducted by Mr. P. C. Wagner of this office
during the period April ?.13,1990, of activities authorized by NRC Operating
License DPR-46 for the Coopr 'luclear Station, and to the discussion of our
findings with Mr. Guy Horn and other members of your staff at the conclusion of
the inspection.
The area examined during this inspection included the review of design changes
and modifications implemented during the last two refueling cycles. Within
this area, the inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the
inspector. The inspection findings are documented in the enclosed inspection
report.

The inspector also examined the actions you have taken in response to
previously identified inspection findings. The status of these items is
discussed in paragraphs 2 and 3 of the enclosed report.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
