Subject: REQUALIFICATION REMEDIATION EXAMINATION REPORT NO. - 50-245/90-06 (OL)
During the week of March 19, 1990,' the-NRC, administered a requalification
re-examination to a-Senior Operator'of'M111 stone Nuclear Power Station, Unit
One, who had failed one section of the requalification exams given during the
week of October 19, 1989.
The examination was administered in accordance with
Revision 5 to NUREG-1021,'" Operator Licensing Examiner Standards," specifically,
ES-601, " Administration of NRC Requalification Program Evaluations."

At the conclusion of the examination, findings relating to the preparation and

administration of the exam were discussed with members of your staff identified
in the enclosed report.
The result of the re-examination is that the operator passed his respective
l
area of the requalification re-examination.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission regulations, a copy of this
letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Docket Room.
