Hampshire Yankee (NHY), as agent for the licensees named in the above operating license, herewith provides the information required by 10 CFR 550.33(k)(2) and 10 CFR I 50.75 in the form of a Decommissioning i

Funding Assurance Report and Certification for Seabrook Station, Unit 1.

The enclosed Report and Certification, together with its attached Exhibits, addresses NHY's compliance with the requirements of 10 CFR $50.75 and includes certification that ' reasonable assurance will be provided that.

. funds will be available for decommissioning' of Seabrook Station. Unit 1, in I

an amount not less than the inflation adjusted minimum amount required by 10 CFR 550.75(c).

As described in the enclosed Report and Certification, NHY submits that the actions by NHY and the Seabrook Joint Owners to assure funds for deconunissioning of Seabrook Station Unit 1, at the anticipated end of its energy producing life are in compliance with the State of New Hampshire decommissioning statute and the Commission's requirement pertaining to decomunissioning of nuclear electric generating facilities.
