Enclosed are two memos that have a direct bearing on the application of Bulletin 88-10 by licensees.
The first memo, Rossi to Varga/Holahan dated January 5,1989, address the actions that Itcensees are to take if they choose not to test any untraceable l
breakers. The second memo, Grimes to Regional DivTsTon Directors, dated December 12, 1988, asks that Ifeensees be requested to hold any breakers that fall during testing for at least six months. One additional clarification to that memo is needed.
If the Itcensee chooses not to test the untraceable breakers, those untested breakers should also be held at least six months.
