We have received copics of the following applications that the Authority has filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (ONRR) for review.
These applications were for review of items for the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant.
1.
TS-2S dated Deceiter 13, 1901, for updating Sequoyah Unit l!c.1 Technical Specifications (TS) to uake them consistent with those approved for Unit tio. 2.
Fees pursuant to 10 CFR 170.22 v.ere not remitted with this application because tha Authority concluded that it was subuitted to clarify the TS at the request of the NRC.

Letter dated December lu,190', for revision of Unit No. 2 License Condition 2.C(lf.)p to reflect a new date for subnittal of small-break LOCA calculations to nRC.
Fees were not realtted fo' this application which was approved by Anendment No. 3 issued on December 31, 1931.

TS-20 dated March 9,1982, for TS changes to reflect the downscale failure alarus required by license conditions for Unit !ios.1 and 2.
Although you decided that fee Classes II and I were appropriate for this application, fees were not renitted because you detenained that the application was submitted at the request / convenience of the NRC.
dased on infonaation provided by the ONRR staff, it has been detemined that none of the above applications are exenpt from fees because they were not requested by the :lRC for the purpose of simplifying or clarifyii ' the TS or licenses for the convenience of the WRC. Each application is cons.dered to be administrative in aature and requires a Class II fee of $1,200. Tennessee Valley Authority #M 2 3 1982 fee of $400. Therefore, it is requested that the Authority remit a total of $4,000 in payment of fees for items 1, 2 and 3 above.
If the OHRR staff's final fee determinations for itens 1 and 3 above reveal that these feas are not correct, you will be notified and any necessary adjustments will be made.
