EP-74270-102, Rev. 0 Page 2 of 2 1.0 SCOPE 1.1 This engineering procedure defines the engineering requirements for relocation of S.G. nameplates. 1.2 All work performed under this procedure shall be in accordance with the requirements of the ASME Code,1980 edition including Winter 1980 addenda, Section XI. 1.3 Detailed instructions to perform the nameplate relocation shall be issued by NCE-Field Services. These instructions shall reflect the requirements of this engineering procedure. 2.0 EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS 2.1 Special equipment and tooling required to perform this work shall be provided by NCE-Field Services. 2.2 All material required shall.Ae fyrnished by NCE-Fieldhervices. ~ 2.3 Air and electricity hook-ups, comon hand tools, and site machine shop / maintenance shop facilities are to be available from the utility. 3.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS ( 3.1 Return the work area to the "as found" condition uport completion of the nameplate relocation. 3.2 Provide for health and safety of personnel involved in this task. 4.0 SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 4.1 Remove the present nameplate from the steam generator base (Refer to CE Drawing D-246-674-0). 4.2 Reinstall the nameplate and the nameplate bracket (Piece 674-01) as per CE Drawing D-246-674-0). 4.3 Weld the cap screws to 'the nameplate bracket using weld procedure per CE Drawing D-246-674-0. No welding and/or arc strikes are pennitted on the steam generator support skirt.
