PROPRIETARY DABC0CK & WILC0X (B&W) D0Ct!!ENT NPGA;.TM-585, "PCRIT - CRITICAL PRESSURE CALCULATION - LINEAR ELASTIC FRACTURE HECHNIICS AHALYSIS" DATED NOVE!0ER 1981 By letter dated February 19, 1982 you submitted the subject report and the affidavit of Mr. Janes H. Taylor, Bul Company and requested that this report be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR S 2.790.
Your reasons for requesting our withholding this naterial were that infomation contained in the report is considered proprietary because it contains infomation which falls within one or nore of criteria enumerated in the following paragraph and it is information which is customarily held in confidence and protected as proprietary infomation by B&M.
The following criteria are custonarily applied by BM1 in a rational decision process to detemine whether the infomation should be clas-sified as proprietary. Infomation nay be classified as proprietary if one or more of the following criteria are met.
a.
Infomation mveals cost or price infomation, connercial strategies, production capabilities, or budget levels of B&'4, its customers or suppliers.
b.
The infomation ravoals data or natorial conceming Brel research or development plans or programs of present or potential competitive advantage to Bal.
I c.
The use of the information by a competitor would decrease his expenditures, in time or resources, in designing, producing or j
marketing a similar product.
l d.
1he infomation consists of test data or other similar data concerning a process, nethod or component, the application or which results in a competitive advantage to B&W.
e.
