SUMMARY
OF OPERATING EXPERIENCE FOR THE MONTH DOCKET NO. 50-206 UNIT SONGS 1 DATE 7-8-81 COMPLETED BY.RAIDY TELEPHONE (714)492-Unit 1 was taken critical on June 15, 1981, and low power physics testing was started.
On June 16 physics testing was completed. The Unit was placed on the line at 25 MWe on June 17, 1981.
A steam flow mismatch tripped the unit on June 18.
The problem was the corrected and the unit was returned to 25 MWe.
The turbine was taken off the line on June 19 for testing, and returned to 25 MWe.
The unit was manually tripped on June 21 due to the failure of #2 sequencer to perform properly during testing. This was declared an " unusual event". The problem was resolved and the unit was back on the line at 25 MWe.
On June 28th the reactor was taken to 85% power. On June 29th the unit was shutdown to repair a leak in the "A" steam generator feed water flow sensing line and then was placed back on the line.
On June 30th, the unit was taken to 85% reactor power.
