Haddam Neck Plant I
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 47 to Facility Operating License No'. DPR-61 for the Haddam Neck Plant. This amend-i l
ment is in response to your application dated February 1,1982, which is in reference to our request for proposed technical specifications dated November 5,1979, and is a followup to your letters dated January 30, 1980 and May 26, 1981.
i The amendment approves changes to the Appendix A Technical Specifi-cations to ensure the accuracy of the Control Rod Position Indication 8
System.

The amendment also corrects editorial errors which occurred inadvertently l
during the preparation of Amendment Nos. 42 and 44 to the License dated l
October 8,1981 and November 30, 1981, respectively. With respect to l
Amendment No. 42, on line 2 of page 3-15c change 3.3-11 to 3.9-2; on line 1
4 of page 3-20, change 3.12,C to 3.ll.C.
In regard to Amendment No. 44, 3p/
on line 2 of page 22 of the supporting Safety Evaluation we inadvertently made reference to an air operated isolation valve. We should have referred l
to a " motor-operated" isolation valve. Therefore, a revised page 22 for i /
l that Safety Evaluation is enclosed.
Copies of our related Safety Evaluation and the Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
