Andrew E. McNamara TELEPHONE 1 (315) 524-4446 Ext. 205 or 293 MutTH November, 1981 The reactor r level averaged 100% until 11/8/81 when it was reduced to approximately 4 to perform a series of turbine valve and trip tests.
The power level was restored to 100% and ramained at that level until 11/14/81.
On that date a manual reactor trip took the ur_tt out of service. This manual reactor trip was due to an accidental actuation of the fire suppression system.
'Jhe unit was returned to service on 11/15/b1 and the power level was maintained at 100% for the remainder of the report month, the excepticn being a reduction to approximately 98% on 11/23/81 to perform peri xiic tests on the auxiliary feedwater system.

, GINNA STATION Maintenance Report November, 1981 During November routine inspections and maintenance were performed. Major safety related maintenance included:
1.
Replacement of a low level insertion limit bistable.
2.
Replacement of a supply breaker for a safety injectim plump with a dual feed, after the breaker failed to operate properly.
3 Cleaning and drying out of numerous connectims on the nuclear instrunentation system, after numerous fire system water suppression systems were accidentally actuated.
4.
Cleaning of a containment spray pump discharge check valve after it failed to close quickly during testing.
5 Repair of a pinhole leak, probably caused by a casting imperfectim, cm a steem generator blowdown containment isolation valve.
