UNIT fl0.1 (HA-1): REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATI0H By letter dated February 18, 1982 we stated that the NRC staff had initiated a substantial effort to bring current its approval of your inservice inspec-tion relief requests for HA-1.

Since then, our review of your previous submittals for NA-1 has been con-tinuing, and based upon the present status of our i'eview, we find additional information is required. Our request for the additional information is provided in the Enclosure to this letter.

So that we raay continue to expedite our NA-1 review, we request that your response be provided within 30 days from the date of this letter.

Also, to support our expedited review, we request that a copy of your response be provided directly to:

Reactor Ccolant Pumo, Pump Casing Welds (Item B5.6) Category B-t-1, Class 1 Component Note 12 (Reference 1) states: " Volumetric examinations as required by IWB-2600 will be attempted utilizing radiographic techniques. The success of these examinations will be dependent upon the availability of high energy gamma sources and the level of background radiation.
