Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Qq T's Docket No. 50-219 Containment Vent / Purge Systan h is letter responds to your letter of January 4, 1982, concerning the Containment Vent / Purge System. As stated in JCP&L letter of July 31, 1980, all containment isolation vent and purge valves will be replaced with qualified valves. JCP&L letter of December 17, 1980 ccmnitted to operating the valves in accordance with the staff's interim position presented in their letter of October 23, 1979.
We will not be able to acccmnodate your questions, concerning the new qualified valves to be installed, by the requested resp nse date. We allotted response time is inadequate.
It is our intention to provide you with a schedule for supplying the requested information or our position on each item by July 15, 1982.
