Gentlemen:
This refers to the inspection conducted by our Resident Reactor Inspector,
Mr. R. G. Taylor, during January 1982, of activities authorized by NRC Con-
struction Permits CPPR-126 and CPPR-127 for the Comanche Peak facility, Units
1 and 2, and to the discussion of our findings with Mr. R. G. Tolson and other
members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection and our findings are discussed in the
enclosed inspr.ction report. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of
selective exrmination of procedures and representative records, interviews with
a
personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of the inspection, no violations were identified.
Three new unresolved items disclosed durins the inspection are discussed in
paragraphs 5 and 7.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2./90(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Document eloom unless you notify this office,
by telephone, within 10 d es of the date of this letter and submit written
application to withhold information contained therein within 30 des of the
date of this letter. Such application must be consistent with the require-
ments of 2.790(b)(1).
