This refers to the verification tests performed during an inspection
conducted by Dr. C. J. Paperiello of this office on March 7-9, 1977, at
Indian Point Nuclear Generating Units 1, 2, and 3 of activities authorized
by flRC License flos. DPR-5, DPP-26, and DPR-64.
The results of that
inspection are contained in our letter dated April 12, 1977, which
includes Office of Inspection and Enforcement Combined Inspection Report
Number 50-03/77-02; 50-247/77-06; and, 50-286/77-07.

The results of our rerification tests made at the time of that inspec-
tion are included in the Office of Inspection and Enforcement Inspection
Report which is enclosed with this letter.
Other aspects of the inspection
were previously discussed in the above referenced correspondence.
Within the scope of the inspection, no items of noncompliance were
observed.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of t% 9 ;'s " Rules of Practice," Part
2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulatbn 3 1

If this report contains any information that you (or your contractor)

believe to be proprietary, it is necessary that you make a written
application within 20 days to this office to withhold such infonnation

document or part sought to be withheld, and which contains a stitement
of reasons which addresses with' specificity the ite.ms which will be
considered by the Com:nission as listed in subparagraph (b) (4) of Section
2.790- The information sought to be withheld shall be incorporated as
