LA CROSSE BOILING WATER REACTOR The Comnission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 28 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-45 for the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor (LACBWR). The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifi-cations in response to your application dated February 23, 1982, as supplemented March 4, 1982.
The amendment modifies the Techniccl Specifications to reflect' changes in the allowable maximum average exposure of a fuel assembly not on the periphery of the core for Cycle 7.
We have determir.cd that a permanent extension to the fuel burnup limit should await confirmation of satisfactory performance. Therefore, we 6 I modified your request for Cycle 7.only. We discussed this change with 5P your representative and mutually agreed upon it.
