Dear Mr. Clark:
The Omaha Public Power District's letter dated December 28, 1981.
provided an update regarding the District's implementation of TMI Action' Plan (NUREG-0737) requirements.
Specifically, the letter stated that the Fort Calhoun Station containment hydrogen monitors (Item II.F.1.6) were installed and the calibration of the monitors was to be completed by January 1,1982, consistent with the Commission's schedule.
During the calibration procedure, the hydrogen analyzers were damaged, re-quiring that they be returned to the vendor for repair.
Based upon the vendor's repair schedule, the District expects to have the hydrogen monitors returned, reinstalled, and operational by June 1,1982. The damage to the Fort Calhoun Station hydrogen monitors has been previously discussed with the District's NRC Project Manager and this htter serves
