NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE
.The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Cocmission (th'e Commission) has issued Amendment No. 29 to Facility Operating License No. NPF-6 issued to Arkansas Power and Light Corpany (the licensee), which revised the Technical Specifications for operation of Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit No. 2, located in Pope County, Arkansas. The amendment is effective as of its date of issuance.
The amendment modifies the body of the li_ cense and the ANO-2 Appendix A and S TechnicaluSpecifications dealing'with the reactor building / containment coolersurveillancerecuirementi the health physics section organization, the main feedwater isolation valve, the emergency feedwater pump resconse ifce, cecky' neat yem.cval capability, seccndary coolant activity and several gjscellaneouscchrections, The applicati6ns for the amendment comply with the standards and y
requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Cornission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made apprcpriate
' findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are, set forth in the license amendment. P rior z
