equipment dynamic qualification.
Your letter identified a requalification plan for Shoreham equipment, and provided responses to open items identified during the first SQRT audit.
We are interested in your equipment qualification programs. We note from your schedule that requalification of some equipment is complete, and other equipment is currently under going reqmlification.
It would be helpful to the licensing process if we had additional infomation on your requalificatior, programs prior to the second SQRT audit. We feel that it is desirable for us to review and witness tests under your requalification program in order to form a judgenent rega rding the adequacy of your program. The additional infomation may also avaid, or minimize, potential staff concerns related to methods and results derived from your requalification programs.

Other items identified as/open issues during the first SQRT audit have been resolved pending confimation of those items which require a review of the as-bull t configuration, see item 17.
