3.0 SETPOINT

4.0 SIGNIFICANCE
Indicates that at Icast 2 out of 3 luel two units have failed or a low voltage exists. An undervoltage trip will occur if a safety injection signal is present.
3620 volts is the lowest allowable voltage on the 4160 volt buses. Operation at a lower voltage may degrade electrical equipment.
5.0 PROCEDURE
5.1 If there is no safety injection signal at this time, a level-two trip alarm will be initiated. Once this alarm is received, the operator should notify CONVEX to try and increase the 115KV rwitchyard voltage.
If the voltage can't be restored within 4 hours4.62963e-5 days <br />0.00111 hours <br />6.613757e-6 weeks <br />1.522e-6 months <br />, the operator must bring the plant to hot standby.
5.2 If a safety injection signal occurs while the degraded voltage logic is producing an output, the 86/1-9 lockout relay will operate. This relay will operate the 27Y, 27Y1, and 27Y2 relays which are used in the level one undervoltage scheme. These relays will do the following:

Initiate Load Shedding (through the 94LS relay)
Trip and Lockout 4971 1-9 Close 6T7 Initiate Close of 52/EG2B Block Auto Start of Charging Pump P-18-1A Initiate Sequencing of Service Water Pump P-37-1C or P-37-lD.
When resetting these relays, it is important that the 86/1-9 be reset before 27Y-1-9 and'that 27Y-1-9 and safety injection 4A and 4B relays be reset prior to resetting 4/EG2A.
