Dear Mr. Cavanaugh:
By letter dated January 20, 1982, we requested additional information related toihe Equipnent Environmental Qualification Review and concerning Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit No.1. Enclosure 1 identifies additional related information which we need and did not request in our January 20,1982 letter. This request should be considered an extension of the January 20, 1982 request.
However, we request that this information be provided within 30 days from the date of this letter.
Responses to Enclosure 1 should be transmitted directly to the following with a copy of the cover letter to Mr. John F. Stolz (NRC):

FRC Review of Installed TMI Action Plan Items Information Requested 1.
References 3, 3.1, and 5 do not provide adequate detail with respect to identification cf TMI Action Plan equipment installed as of 1/1/81.
a.
Identification of all TMI Action Plan equipment installed as of 1/1/81 is requested, b.
Identification of TMI Action Plan equipment installed with implementation dates after 1/l/81 is requested.
c.
The correlation of these equipment items with the specific sections of NUREG-0737 [6] presented below (as applicable) is requested.
For PWRs, Sections:
IIE1.2, IIE4.2, !!E3.1, IIG1, IIF2, IID3, IIK3.12(Ux), IIK3.0(Ux),
IIK2.10(B&W),!!B3,IIE4.1.
[The correlation is needed to ensure that all items are included in the review, e.g., if a transmitter is identified as a TMI Action Plan item, are the cable and terminal Olocks associated with the device also identified?]

For all installed TMI Action Plan equisnent identified, a System Component Evaluation Worksheet (SCEW) (in accordance with 79-01B formal) is requested, e.
The approximate installation date for the Till Action Plan equipment items is requested so that the appropriate qualification criteria (NUREG-0588 or DOR Guidelines) can be used in the EEQ evaluation.
2.
The qualificaiton documents, e.g., the actual test reports and associated correspondence cited as evidence of qualification listed on the SCEW sheets, for all identified TMI Action Plan equipment are requested. [The identification of those reports considered to be proprietary is requested so that proper control of documents can be maintained.]
3.
Where the Licensee has a standard Owner's Group position with respect to a NUREG-0737 technical area or has requested extensions of implementation dates, this information is requested in order to incorporate it into the review.
