WESTINGHOUSE NUCLEAR ENERGY SYSTEMS ORGANIZATION CHANGE This letter is to notify you of an organizational restructuring within Nuclear Energy Systems. The changes are described below:

Offshore Power Systems (0PS)

Effective February 1, 1982 Offshore Power Systems became a division of the Water Reactor Divisions. The addition of the total power plant design, construction and licensing experience within OPS will allow WRD to be more responsive to the changing commercial nuclear industry's needs. Mr. A. R. Collier, President of OPS, will report directly to Mr. J. S. Moore, Vice President and General Manager, Water Reactor Divisions.

Mr. H. Brunko, Manager, Nuclear Technology Division Product Integrity and Design Assurance, reports on a dotted line basis to Mr. Collier. The attached organization charts show the functional organization of OPS and the revised WRD organization. These attachments replace the previous charts provided to you on June 11, 1981 (

No impact is anticipated from this change to the program conunitments in WCAP-8370 since this is a change in organizational elements only, as provided for in WCAP-8370 and NUREG-0800, Revision 2.

The Quality Assurance Porgram activities under the Manufacturing License Application (NRC Docket 50-437) will remain separate from those covered by WCAP-8370 and are documented in the Floating Nuclear Plant Design Report, Chapter 17.
