In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 In accordance with 10 CFR Part 50.59, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to the licenses DPR-77 and DPR-79 to change the t inical specifications for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2 (Enclosure 1). The proposed amendment requests changes in the plant organization (Figure 6.2-2) and the PORC composition. Justification to support the proposed change is also provided (Enclosure 2). This change supersedes our previous request, TVA-SNP-TS-12, dated March 25, 1981.
In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR Part 170.22, we have determined the proposed amendment to be Class III for unit 1 and Class I for unit 2.
These classifications are based on the facts that the amendment is a single safety issue and that the changes apply to two identical units on the same site. The additional remittance fee of $4400 is being wired to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Attention: Licensing Fee Management Branch.
