Proposed Technical Specification Changes NRC Docket Nos. 50-373 and 50-374
Dear Mr. Schwencer:
The purpose of this letter is to propose a clarification change to.the LaSalle County Station Technical Specifications.
_The proposed change which was discussed with Mr. R._Bottimore on February 19, 1982, will clarify the required actions when performing a channel functional test on the ADS Timers and LPCI Pump " A" Start
' Time Delay Relays.
In Table 4.3.3.1-1 o f the Technical Specification (enclosure) Items A.l.F, A.2.C and B.2.C, are shown with a footnote (a).
There appears to be no reason for this footnote since the functional check of the actuation instrumentation is required on a monthly basis.
The footnote only serves to confuse the intent of the specification and, in fact, is inconsistant since item B.l.d does not have the same footnote.
Therefore, a proposed change to the Technical Specification is requested to delete footnote (a).
