Dear Mr. Perry:
Please be advised that the operating license hearings for the Palo Verde nuclear facilities have been rescheduled to begin on March 30, 1982. At this time there are no emergency planning contentions presently scheduled for these hearings. An Atomic Safety and Licensing Panel had previously allowed the Intervenor-in this proceeding until January 23, 1982 to submit.
emergency planning contentions to the Board based upon the offsite emergency plan for the Palo Verde units submitted by ADES to FEMA on December 11, 1981.
However, this deadline has passed without the Intervenor filing any contentions.
